This unique symposium offers an opportunity to connect with Interventional Cardiologists from across North America. Learn about new techniques, discuss important issues, and explore the latest controversies in the field. Designed for internists, cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, and cardiac surgeons, this program aims to provide emerging trends and evidence-based practices from the past 12 months, offering participants guideline-driven, contemporary approaches to cardiovascular patient care.

OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this program, by didactic and case presentations, participants will be able to:
– understand coronary artery disease and apply the most appropriate treatments based on updated physiopathology, pharmacotherapy and recent clinical trials;
– understand and standardize the clinical application of epicardial and microvascular testing;
– appreciate practical applications of artificial intelligence in cardiology.
– become familiar with personal mindfulness, breathing control, yoga and healthy diet;
– update their approach to various valvular heart conditions, disease according to the latest evidence and guidelines;
– understand and standardize the management of cardiogenic shock in the catheterization lab;
– improve insight and awareness of significant successes and resolved complications through coronary and valvular case presentations.
