This symposium will update practicing interventional cardiologists, cardiology residents & fellows, general cardiologists, internists, cardiovascular surgeons, nurses and technologists in the latest developments in the field of Coronary Physiology and Invasive imaging. This annual event remains unique in the Canadian medical community, as it is the singular dedicated scientific meeting focusing specifically on intravascular ultrasound and coronary physiology invasive modalities (FFR-iFR) and their teaching, research, and clinical applications, both diagnostically and during PCI.
At the end of this program, by didactic and case presentations, participants will be able to better understand:
– the clinical applications of invasive pressure-derived indices in various conditions;
– the theory and clinical application of coronary angio-based functional coronary assessment;
– endothelial-dependent and -independent epicardial and microvascular testing;
– OCT and IVUS, including their clinical applications and limitations.

The CPI Fellows Competition remains an exciting forum to share and discuss interesting (confusing?) and challenging cases with world renowned experts on imaging and coronary physiology. We are looking for approximately 5 cases of either coronary physiology (FFR, iFR or CFR) or intracoronary imaging (OCT, IVUS) that will be selected to present on the Tuesday evening.
Each presenter will have a total of 20 minutes. This timing will be carefully monitored. The cases are to be submitted to Don Palisaitis and if selected, then need to be structured so that there are maximum 2 stop points where discussion will be requested. For submissions, please include a summary, with the major teaching point (s). Please do not include slides with extraneous information – go to the point that is the highlight of your presentation. If attendees want to know more, they will ask. Try to finish within 20 minutes WITH your 2 stop points.
Please submit case to: Don Palisaitis, MD, dpalisaitis@hotmail.com
Registration to CPI is required. Please complete the registration form below, select complimentary registration and indicate in the comments that you are submitting a case for the Fellows Competition. Should your case get accepted as 1 of the 5 participants, we will cover your flight and hotel for 1 night in Montreal (if required). Should your case not get accepted, we would still like to have you there, but you would need to cover your travel and hotel.
Following CPI, there will be a bus from the Marriott Montreal Airport In-Terminal Hotel, which will take you up to Tremblant.
TIC 2025: Special reduced fee for TIC 2025: $250 for fellows!
Fellows can present cases at the TIC program on either Thursday or Saturday afternoon, providing you and an attending from your center are registered to the TIC meeting. If presenting a case, you will receive 4 nights (max) complimentary hotel in Tremblant.
